For 20’s generations, please act for a friend. 30’s generations, please act for the environment of the circumference. 40’s generations, let's act for a country and the world. And, I think that the artist should have such a freedom as necessary to speak with freedom and passion.
The Fukuoka earthquake of 2005 was generated two days after the opening of the exhibition. The installation was unsettled and fell to the ground in a disruptive and poetic manner.
Drawing a labyrinth with salt is like following a trace of my memory. Memories seem to change and vanish as time goes by. However, what I sought for was the way in which I could touch a precious moment in my memories, which cannot be attained through pictures or writings. What I look for at the end of the act of drawing could be a feeling of touching a precious memory.
